Wade founded Copper Builders. He has spent 21 years in homebuilding, across both custom and production homes.

He sets Copper’s long-range direction, chooses where Copper builds next and what it builds there, and focuses on a talented, passionate team and a culture that doesn’t compromise on standards.

Tim runs Copper Builders day to day. He brings 20 years in homebuilding, trained by a national builder, and leads with a values-first approach.

He keeps every Copper team working to one plan and clears the way for the people building your home.

Daniel oversees operations across Copper’s for-sale communities, from how homes are built and delivered to the service homeowners receive after move-in.

In 21 years in homebuilding he has earned a reputation for integrity and follow-through, with particular strength in supplier negotiations and project planning.

Jon leads finance and administration for Copper Builders, working with its lenders and partners. A Kannapolis native, he studied at UNC Charlotte, began in public accounting and spent 29 years with Shea Homes, where he learned nearly every part of the homebuilding business.

He oversees accounting, reporting, technology and people operations across every Copper division.

Katrina leads retail sales as Director of Retail Sales. She brings more than two decades in residential construction sales and marketing, including executive leadership roles with national and private builders, and owns sales strategy and performance across Copper’s markets.

David leads Copper’s homes and communities in Charlotte, including the homes we build on our clients’ own lots.

He oversees the division’s sales, construction and closings, where it builds next, and the team that builds every home. He walks clients through building on their lot in our film.

Stefan has been with Copper since 2014 and serves as a President in the Retail West division, where he leads land and sales for Charlotte communities — sourcing lots, analyzing deals and coaching the sales team.

Matt makes sure every Copper home is built right and cared for after move-in. He has been with Copper Builders since 2014.

Shannon leads the homes Copper builds on our clients’ lots, and conversions, and has been with Copper since 2021.

William leads Copper’s homes and communities in Greenville, SC.

Andy is Vice President of the Greenville, SC division, responsible for construction, purchasing and service — from bidding and trade negotiation through settlement and warranty.

Ron is Vice President of the Wilmington division. He has spent most of his career in homebuilding with both national and privately held builders, and he leads with strong relationships among customers, trade partners and vendors.

KaCee leads the Copper Design Studio and guides each homeowner through their selections.

She brings 16 years in customer service and 7 in homebuilding design. Artistic and detail-oriented, she stays current on design trends and helps each client bring their vision to life.

Hodges is a Design Concierge and a Charlotte native who lives on the street where she grew up. After a decade in health insurance she left to sail across the Pacific, then spent years flipping houses and furnishing homes on a budget. She helps clients let go of convention in favor of color, style and whimsy.

Diane has been with Copper since 2015 and serves as a Design Concierge, helping clients with selections and making the design process personal from the first appointment.

Kristin is Selections Coordinator at the Greenville Design Studio. She brings more than 17 years in interior and cabinet design and helps Greenville clients make their selections with confidence.

Jahmeil is the first person most people talk to at Copper. He answers questions with no pressure and connects each client with the right person.

Originally from Queens, New York, he played college soccer at Elon and Cincinnati and built his career in business development before joining Copper.

Brittni is a sales counselor with Copper Builders in Charlotte, helping clients select and design the right home for their lot.

She joined Copper as the 2024 MAME Salesperson of the Year. She grew up in Zebulon, North Carolina, and attended East Carolina University.

Laine is a Sales Counselor in Greenville, SC. Born and raised in Easley, she brings more than five years of new-construction real estate experience and a gift for meaningful connections.

Alanna is Sales & Marketing Assistant in Charlotte, keeping the model home ready, supporting the sales team and gathering content for Copper’s marketing.

Travis leads Copper’s build for rent team. He helps each partner plan the community, choose the right plans and lock in pricing.

Nick leads purchasing and preconstruction planning for Copper’s build for rent communities, so every project starts right.

Kris runs operations for Copper’s build for rent communities, making sure each one is built and delivered on time and on budget.

Ben is a Superintendent for Build for Rent. A Lander University business graduate, he found construction while recruiting for national builders and moved into field management, coordinating sites and trade partners.

Chris is a Project Manager for Build for Rent, running daily execution, trade coordination, inspections and quality on the division’s homes.

Gary is a Project Manager for Build for Rent, running daily execution, trade coordination, inspections and quality on the division’s homes.

Michaela is a Project Manager for Build for Rent, running daily execution, trade coordination, inspections and quality on the division’s homes.

Dennale leads Copper’s condominium and multifamily work. She brings 15 years in multifamily operations and development, from ground-up construction through lease-up and stabilized assets.

She has operated more than 7,000 units across the East Coast, and her expertise is in budget and pro forma planning.

Steve leads construction of Copper’s multifamily and commercial projects. He brings more than 30 years in commercial construction.

His record of delivering high-profile projects on time and on budget includes the NASCAR Hall of Fame, the Boeing 787 expansion and Ballantyne Corporate Park.

Stephen leads Copper’s multifamily and commercial job sites, directing the trades and the quality of the work in the field.

He holds a building construction degree from the University of Florida and an MBA from UNC Charlotte, and his 30-year career runs from office and high-rise work to industrial, institutional and, for the last decade, multifamily construction.

Tim is Senior Superintendent for Multifamily & Commercial, leading daily site operations, trade sequencing, safety and quality.

Stewart is a Superintendent for Multifamily & Commercial, leading daily site operations, trade sequencing, safety and quality. Originally from Jacksonville, North Carolina, he brings eight years of commercial construction management experience.

Orlando is a Superintendent for Multifamily & Commercial, leading daily site operations, trade sequencing, safety and quality.

Hayden manages Copper’s multifamily and commercial projects day to day, from the schedule to the budget. Originally from Thomasville, North Carolina, he played baseball at Liberty University.

Emily is a Project Manager for Multifamily & Commercial, bringing commercial project management experience to Copper’s Centrum project. She was born and raised in Syracuse, New York.

Cameron is Assistant Project Superintendent for Multifamily & Commercial, supporting field coordination, punch work, inspections and documentation. He holds an OSHA 30 card.

Connor is an Assistant Superintendent for Multifamily & Commercial, supporting field coordination, inspections and documentation.

Brandon is a Project Engineer for Multifamily & Commercial, supporting project documentation, submittals and coordination.

Lennen is a Field Engineer for Multifamily & Commercial, supporting the field team with documentation, layout and coordination.

Vianney handles accounting and financial reporting for Copper’s multifamily and commercial projects.

Matt is Area Field Manager in Raleigh-Durham, leading construction in the field and keeping homes on schedule, on budget and to Copper’s quality standard.

Bill is a Senior Project Manager in Raleigh-Durham, running construction, trade coordination, inspections and budget on the division’s homes.

Josh is Production Supervisor for Charlotte communities, overseeing daily execution, trade coordination and quality across his homes.

Bo is a Project Manager for Build on Your Lot, running daily job execution, trade coordination, inspections and budget on each home, and keeping clients informed along the way.

Justin has been with Copper since 2021 and is a Project Manager for Charlotte communities, running daily job execution, inspections and quality, and keeping buyers and agents updated.

Storm is a Project Manager for Charlotte communities. He grew up near Hendersonville, played baseball at NC State and spent a few years in finance before moving into homebuilding, where he has built every type of residential product.

Logan is a Project Manager in Charlotte. Originally from Ohio and a graduate of UNC Wilmington, he joined Copper as Interior Superintendent on Four09 Queens after four years in residential construction management.

Timm is a Project Manager in Raleigh-Durham.

Ben is a Project Manager in Greenville, SC, and was the division’s first. Born and raised in Greenville, he earned a construction management degree at Clemson, built custom homes in Wyoming for five years and returned home as a project manager with Hartness Construction.

Daniel is a Project Manager in Asheville and helped launch the division. An Appalachian State construction management graduate and licensed general contractor, he has built homes in Charlotte and Asheville since 2015.

Fred is Vice President of Finance & Investments, building Copper’s investment platform and its investor relationships. Raised in Nashville, he graduated from Furman University and earned an MBA at Clemson. Before Copper he worked in real estate development at Hartness Development, handling entitlements, construction management, financial modeling and capital raising.

Amber is Senior Accountant, responsible for every stage of the accounting process — payables and receivables, reconciliations, close and reporting. She brings more than 15 years in accounting and real estate.

Alice is a Staff Accountant based in Raleigh, supporting financial and metric reporting, payables and receivables, and compliance.

Bethany is Executive Assistant and Administrator, supporting the CEO and leadership team and keeping the office running. She brings 15 years in administration and four in commercial real estate, and holds a North Carolina real estate license.

Haylee is Executive Assistant to the Founder. A Charlotte native with a degree from Western Carolina University, she began her career in property management and spent three years as an executive assistant at a top-10 public accounting firm.

Cristine is Bookkeeper, supporting Copper’s accounting team from the Philippines.

Mariano is Accounting Assistant, supporting Copper’s accounting team from the Philippines.

Ellen supports Copper’s accounts payable from the Philippines.

JR is Purchasing Assistant, supporting purchasing and estimating from the Philippines.

Krystelle is Purchasing & Estimating Coordinator, supporting Copper’s purchasing and estimating from the Philippines.

Laith is Copper’s first Director of AI. He builds Copper’s internal software, strengthens its online presence and brings automation and AI to every part of the business. He is originally from Michigan.

Cori is Traffic & Project Coordinator, keeping Copper’s marketing projects moving from request to delivery. She brings more than a decade in customer service and years in the custom home industry, and she has run Copper’s social media and newsletters.

Maeve is Digital Marketer & Content Creator, producing Copper’s digital, social and project-branding assets and supporting photo and video.

Miguel is Digital Marketer & Web Designer, handling website maintenance, search optimization, conversion and analytics.

Charles is CAD Technician, producing floor plans, revisions, details, 3D renderings and marketing floor plans. He is based in Las Piñas, Philippines, and comes from an architecture background.
