What you send us
When you use Talk to Us or another form on this website, we receive what you enter: your question, and your email address or phone number. Some forms also ask for your name, the kind of home or project you are interested in, an address, or how you would like us to reply.
With each message we record the page you sent it from, the community or home you were looking at, and how you first arrived at the site (for example, a search engine or a link), so your note reaches the right person with the right context.
How we use it
We use what you send to answer you, to connect you with the Copper Builders team for your city or project, and, if you are a homeowner, to handle a warranty request. Your message goes to our sales team first and is kept in our customer records so anyone who helps you later has the history.
We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Who helps us run the site
This website is hosted by Vercel, which processes the technical information any website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
Messages you send through the site go straight into our own business systems. If those cannot be reached, the message is delivered to our team by email through Resend, an email delivery service. These providers handle your information only to provide their service to us.
Analytics, advertising and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site: which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, what kind of device they use, and whether they send us a message or tap to call. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this.
We also use advertising tags from Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). They let us show Copper Builders ads to people who have visited this site, and tell us whether those ads led to a message or a call. These tags set cookies and send Google and Meta information such as the pages you visit and identifiers for your browser, which they use under their own privacy policies (policies.google.com/privacy and facebook.com/privacy/policy). You can turn off personalized ads in your Google and Meta ad settings.
When you call a number shown on this website, the call may be routed through CallRail, a call tracking service, so we know which page or ad led to it. CallRail records the number you call from, when you called and the page you came from.
You can opt out of Google Analytics on every website with Google’s browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), or block cookies in your browser. The site works fully without them.
Do Not Sell or Share, and Global Privacy Control
Some state laws treat the advertising tags described above as a sale or sharing of personal information. You can opt out at any time with the Do Not Sell or Share button at the top of this page: Google Analytics, the advertising tags and call tracking then stop loading in this browser.
If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this website treats it the same way, as a request to opt out. You do not need to do anything else.
Your privacy rights by state
Depending on where you live, state law may give you rights over your personal information. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and a growing number of other states may have the right to know what we collect and how we use it, to get a copy, to correct it, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale, its sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and targeted advertising. You also have the right not to be treated differently for using any of these rights.

How long we keep it
We keep your messages for as long as we need them to help you and to maintain our business records, including any warranty history for your home. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our account and then deleted automatically.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the site handles your information, we will update this page.
