David has worked in the homebuilding industry since 2001, focusing on custom residential construction. As President of the Copper Custom Division, David builds custom homes for our clients. He enjoys the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction he gets from providing the high level of customer service and communication that Copper Builders’ clients expect. David is passionate about incorporating the latest home products and technology into every home. Energetic and organized, he loves nothing more than scratching things off his to-do list. He believes that loyalty, integrity and honesty lead to strong relationships, resulting in successful, enjoyable projects.
Shannon Douglas
Vice President, Copper Custom & Conversions
Shannon has had a successful career in new home construction and construction management since 1996, and holds contractor’s licenses in both South Carolina and North Carolina. As Project Manager for our Copper Custom Division, he builds custom homes for our clients on their own land. He’s on the job site daily, supervising tradespeople, managing deliveries, and keeping the project on schedule. Shannon has a degree in Civil Engineering from NC State University, followed by extensive on-the-job experience. He’s highly organized and enjoys his work, with a reputation for finishing projects on time and to the highest standards.
KaCee Neal
Design Manager
KaCee is an award-winning designer with a passion for bringing a family’s dream home to life. Since graduating from Winthrop University, she has worked extensively with custom home-building clients, guiding them carefully through the design process. Artistic, detail oriented and well-versed in the latest design trends, KaCee is in her element when she is working closely with a Copper Builders client to make their home personal and unique. As our Design Center Manager she also helps develop and maintain our state-of-the-art showroom, highlighting current trends, product features, new vendors and showcasing each community’s unique brand.
Alyssa Stone

With over a decade of sales, design and years of real estate experience, Alyssa Stone brings a unique blend of expertise to her role as Sales Counselor for Copper Conversions. Alyssa grew up around renovation and remodeling work which has been the foundation to her dedication to precision, client objectives, and tailored solutions in every client and project she undertakes. As our Sales Counselor, she’s often the first point of contact for new Copper Builders clients. Kelsey offers key information and guidance, providing details about our communities and helping clients through the buying process. She also helps manage our website, plan and execute our events. Kelsey is a versatile, enthusiastic team member who truly enjoys helping people make their dream home a reality.

Madeleine manages our model home in Charlotte and is often the first point of contact for visitors, clients and partners.
