Grand Opening event will feature food, entertainment, model home and design center tours
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (October 19, 2022) — Local homebuilder Copper Builders will be hosting Copper Fest 2022 in SouthPark, on Friday, November 4th from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. The event will celebrate the Grand Opening of Copper Builders’ new Design Center and Model Home. The family-friendly event is open to the public and will feature live music, a beer garden, and food trucks. There will be tours of the new 9,000-square-foot Design Center, along with fun activities such as a bounce house and yard games.
The festival, set in the heart of SouthPark, will feature live music by 5 On Sundays, and local food provided by JJ Red Hots, Ace of Spuds, OooWee BBQ, and Popbar. Adult beverages will be available from Divine Barrel, Summit Seltzer, Wooden Robot, and Town Brewing. Parking will be available on site.
The highlight of Copper Fest will be the grand opening of the brand new, one-of-a-kind designer-curated Model Home and Design Center, showcasing all of the latest home trends. The Design Center, built in association with Charlotte’s renowned New South Home design firm, will be the hub of the home building experience, showcasing everything Copper Builders’ homebuyers need to create a gorgeous custom home. Several years in the making, the multi-million dollar Design Center is near SouthPark Mall, which is known for high-end luxury shopping and dining destinations.

Designed to make the selection process easy for discerning clients, visitors will be able to learn about the latest trends without having to travel all over to see design samples. Designer-curated samples from top brands like Delta, Kohler, Emser Tile, Thermador, Silestone, and Mohawk are all together under one roof. Visitors to Copper Fest will also be able to tour the new Model Home. Featuring an open, interconnected layout, this four-bedroom home has a long list of “must-have” items. Indoor-outdoor living is an integral part of the home’s design, from the first-floor primary bedroom that overlooks the pool out back, to the huge bi-fold door that connects the living room to the covered porch. Practical yet on-trend features include two offices (a pocket office and a zoom room perfect for taking quick calls), a bonus game room with an integrated media room theater (just the spot for watching the games with the guys), a centrally-located wine room with storage for 200 bottles behind steel & glass doors, and a spacious pantry and mudroom.
