With over 20 years in the construction industry, Nick partners with Travis in bringing to life Copper Builders’ field operations. Regarding trade partners and clients as essential foundations for successful building projects, Nick enjoys cultivating and nurturing relationships with them. Construction runs in his DNA: His grandfather owned a building company in Wisconsin, and Nick was still in high school when his wrestling coach introduced him to general contracting. Nick has an M.B.A. and also worked in property and casualty insurance, an experience that further inspired his other passions for coaching and mentoring.

A sports and outdoor enthusiast, Nick is an avid downhill skier and a “cheesehead” for his favorite Wisconsin sports teams. He also enjoys spending his downtime with his wonderful wife, Stephanie, and three spirited boys. Several of Nick’s college professors advised him that if this “building thing” doesn’t pan out, he might want to consider launching an underwear line named “Greg Nickware.” Fortunately for Nick, it doesn’t look like that will happen anytime soon!
