Design Studio

Make Your Home Uniquely Yours

Our Design Studio is the hub of our selection process, where you’ll meet with your designer to discuss your wish list, the budget, and our included options. We’ll take the time to understand your personal style, so designing your new home is productive and fun.

Our trade partners are a crucial part of the design process too. You’ll visit their showrooms for lighting, cabinetry, appliances, plumbing, and interior finishes, accessing an extensive selection of options for your custom home.  Each trade partner has expert staff and offers professional guidance to make your dream home stunning.

What to Expect At The Design Studio

Your Design Studio appointments may be the most fun part of building your new home. It’s time to get into the details – from carpentry details to grout colors and cabinet knobs. If you’re a creative type you’ll love the design process. If you’re not, our experts are here to help you discover and express your personal style.

Using your budget allowances, your professional designer will help you select all of the details and finishes to complete your home. Building a new home requires a lot of decision-making, we’ll document each meeting in Co-Construct to keep it all organized.

Designing Your New Home

Our three-step Design Process is simple and convenient, and our clients love the “Design To Do list” to stay on track.  Every product selection is tracked and every change automatically updates the budget right on your Co-Construct page.  You’re free to work directly with our trade partners, confident that everyone on the team is kept up to date.

Step 1: Gather Your Inspiration

Our designers love getting to know you, so bring your idea binder, vision board, or a tote bag stuffed with samples – whatever works for you!  You’ll be choosing Cabinetry, Countertops, Flooring, Plumbing Fixtures, Lighting Fixtures, Appliances, Shelving, Bath Fittings, and Landscaping for your new home. Pinterest and Houzz are useful resources for researching, organizing and sharing ideas.

Step 2: Explore The Possibilities

After getting to know your style, your designer makes product suggestions and you’ll explore the options for your new home. Our Design Studio is well-stocked with samples, and you’ll also visit some of our vendor showrooms. Be flexible and open to your designer’s suggestions. Saving money on one item may allow you to splurge on another; an upgrade during construction is less expensive than remodeling your home later.

Step 3: Design Your Home

It’s time to make your final selections! As each decision is made, our design team will confirm your budget allowances and enter all of your selections into our CoConstruct software for your approval. You’ll be able to track your progress and communicate with the Copper Builders team online and in our app. You’ll have plenty of time to make decisions – so be certain of each selection before you give final approval.
