Matt’s philosophy is simple – he believes in always doing the right thing. Every day, with each decision, he puts the homeowner’s needs first. A graduate of UNCG, Matt began his construction career at Ferguson Enterprises Management Program where he excelled, creating one of the top stores in the nation. As Project Manager for a national homebuilder he was ranked top supervisor. Matt joined Copper Builders in 2014 and has played a key role as the lead Project Manager on every major project including Lumina, Triveny Commons and Easton Park. In 2019, he earned a General Contractor’s license, and he has taken care of our home warranty repairs for over seven years.
I enjoy starting from dirt and providing an immaculate product that I can be proud of for the rest of my life. I really enjoy riding my kids past homes that I built and showing them my legacy of builds and the positive stamp I have put on our community.

A Southern Family Man
Matt works hard to provide the best life ever for his beautiful wife, Heidi, and their two perfect little munchkins. A Southerner at heart, he loves to play golf, shoot guns, go to the beach, and cheer on UNC, the Carolina Panthers, and the Atlanta Braves.
